About the Business
We have many therapists who work from the Centre - some on a daily basis, others weekly and some others more occasionally. All our therapists are dedicated professionals who have much experience to offer and indeed most are also teachers or trainers in their field.
As all the therapists work at different times during the week or month, please contact the therapist you wish to see directly to make appointments.

Hypnotherapy - Alison Willock
I am a solutions focussed hypnotherapist. This means focussing on the future rather than the past. Today’s demanding life style can impact on the way we think, feel, live and work. It may influence our relationships, self image, self confidence and health which can lead to fear, anxiety, depression, feeling angry and behaviours e.g. smoking.
Shiatsu - Isabelle Reis
What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a holistic therapy that originates from Japan. Shiatsu- (Japanese, meaning finger pressure) massage uses thumbs, fingers, elbows and knees to concentrate pressure at certain energy pathways in the body called meridians. Vital energy (known as Ki in Japanese) flows through this channels. For many different reasons Ki can stop flowing freely and this than produces a symptom. Shiatsu helps to re-balance the flow of Ki through touch. This stimulates the natural healing ability.
Shiatsu is given on a futon mat on the floor and the client is fully clothed. Shiatsu as a therapy treats each individual uniquely and holistically. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience.
What could Shiatsu offer you?
A study made by the European Shiatsu Federation shows that Shiatsu helps clients feel calmer and more relaxed, physically more mobile, more energised, more balanced and more able to cope with things.
More than 90% of regular shiatsu users that were surveyed in the study felt that shiatsu has helped to maintain their health and increased their self-awareness and empowered them to take better care of themselves. And many adopted a relaxed, healthier and more balanced approach to life.
Acupuncture - Niki Oates
This system of medicine has been used in China for over 3000 years and is now recognised as effective by most people in the west. The practitioner takes into account not only symptoms, but also the lifestyle and general health of the patient. Very fine sterilised needles are used to stimulate the Qi – this is the life force running through energy pathways in the body. This allows the whole system to be restored to balance and optimum health. Although often seen as a means of pain relief, it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of conditions, both acute and chronic.
