Zahir is a qualified England Cricket Board Coach, Martial Arts Instructor and Swimming Life Guard. From the tender age of 15, my lower back collapsed as I attempted a bouncer at my annoying father.
The task of bowling fast in cricket, combined with a copious work load of weight training, football, hockey, swimming, athletics, martial arts, badmington, tennis etc, was too much burden on my fragile body as I ended up having innumerable sessions of physiotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractory. Temporary relief was all that I could endeavour as I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis and degenerative changes in my lower back.
