About the Business
The clinic places great importance on practitioners' experience and commitment to continuing professional development. Many are multi-disciplinary or are teaching in their field. All our practitioners are fully qualified, insured and members of their respective professional body, which sets out a code of ethics and governs their professional conduct.
They recommend that you maintain a good relationship with your GP so that principles of conventional and complementary medicine can be integrated on the basis that no one system has the whole answer to every medical problem.
If you are not sure which treatment is most suited to your needs, our management team at reception are very knowledgeable about the different therapies and can assist you in your choice. All of our practitioners offer free short consultations and you are welcome to meet any of them before you book a treatment.
The clinic welcomes children, with play areas and toys in reception and in consultation rooms. The consultation rooms are well separated from the reception area to provide privacy during treatment.
Business Services
Chiropractic
Yossi Steinberg was already working as an emergency service medic in 1992 when he began a three year course training in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine. In January 2004 he completed four years Chiropractic training to qualify as a McTimoney Chiropractor, followed in 2009 by the Chiropractic Diversified Technique course at The McTimoney College of Chiropractic.
He uses Diversified Chiropractic Technique and applied Shiatsu techniques with the McTimoney Chiropractic treatment, when appropriate, to create a practice that is both unique and beneficial. It is effective for headaches, back, neck, shoulder and knee problems. Free chiropractic spinal check available.
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a type of bodywork that aims to stimulate the body back to a healthy balance through acupressure. Both Shiatsu and Acupuncture have their roots in Ancient Chinese medicine and work on energy channels called meridians to promote wellbeing. The strength of Chinese medicine is its ability to find exactly where symptoms fit within a range of complex patterns and to identify the best approach specific to the individual. I work with the Five Elements, which emphasises the importance of the emotional element as a factor in our physical health.
Homœopathy
The human organism is often capable of healing itself but may be impeded in doing so. In these situations one must try to find a method to stimulate or to identify and overcome obstacles to the healing process. Homœopathy is one of many tools that can help achieve this goal. With its method of in-depth investigation of the medical condition and the human being as a whole, it offers a way to see illness in the context of someone's life situation and explore how harmony and balance can be restored. I believe that an integrative approach to medicine is most helpful, and that it offers patients more informed treatment choices.
