About the Business
My first degree is in biochemistry and I have a Master's degree in microbiology, both from the University of London. I have a Nutritional Therapy diploma, and a Certificate of Competence in Nutritional Therapy Practice from the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC), with whom I am also currently registered. I also have a diploma in phytotherapy (herbalism). I am also a member of British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) which is the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists, a member of the Nutrition Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
I worked in bioscience research and medical technology for twenty years before working in nutritional therapy. This training and experience enables me to have a thorough understanding of health and disease from theoretical and clinical points of view. As well as my clinical work, I am a guest lecturer on several nutritional therapy courses to degree and Master's level.
